Here in the Lakes Region of NH we have plenty of snow blowing and coming down. I think we have at least another 12 hours or more to go. We have a good foot of snow - hard to tell with it blowing all around. The town plow has just come through and left us a very high row at the edge of our driveway. Should probably go out and move some of it. SIL will be down later to plow us out. Lost power earlier but it's back on. Might get some sewing in. Stay safe everyone in the Northeast. More to come on Friday and next Monday.

Oh, Please.....Everyone stay safe! I feel guilty also..We have a beautiful 73 degree day and our snow is melted. Think warm thoughts and pile on the quilts!

Southern NH here...about 2 feet of snow on the ground with more falling. High teens for temps, 15-20 mph winds with higher gusts. National Weather Service officially declares this a "blizzard". DH out plowing our 700 foot driveway while I sit and sew.

Stay safe, stay warm and enjoy your day!

funny story for you-
Last night! DH and I are sitting on the bed in our pajamas. I was reading and he was watching TV. All of a sudden he gets up, grabs another blanket and his thickest bathrobe, an says "Brrrr! Why is it so cold in here?" I looked up as he laid back down, to see that he was watching the weather channel and it was showing the blizzard on the east coast. I had to laugh when he changed the channel and after a little while he began to remove layers. He looks at me and says " Wow, it warmed up real quick in here." He was actually feeling cold from watching it snow on TV! Lol!

I live in north central Iowa and we have had some bad storms but I do not believe we have ever had 30" or more at one time. It has been cold and then warmed up this week. more cold coming next week. lots of our snow has melted
Stay inside and safe from the wind and blowing snow.
I was a courrier for our local bank which took 2-3 hours a day. Been 6 years since I retired from that. I did wonder at times what I was doing out in terrible weather.
