So, we're off to the dog show.....
 

My lovely Ocean, who is my avatar, is being shown on Saturday at the Shetland Sheepdog Specialty Show in Chilliwack, BC. Wish me luck!!! She is now spayed and is being shown in the "Altered" category. She won a Best Puppy in Show when she was 7 months old so I'm hoping for a repeat performance. This picture is a couple of years old and she is a lot more coat now. It is right to the ground and she looks spectacular!!! Can you tell I'm in love??

Good luck at the show, she is beautiful. My Bailey is just a mixed breed "mutt" but I love her all the same.

We picked up our new puppy yesterday. 7 week old sable sheltie. After just 2 days she has captured our hearts.

She is gorgeous! And what a beautiful backdrop for such a pretty dog. I wish I had known sooner there was a show on Saturday in Chilliwack - I would have been there. Good luck at the show..

Thanks Rainy. This picture was taken at James Bay in Victoria. The show starting tomorrow is a Sheltie Specialty as well as an all breed. It would have been nice to meet you there!

I too, am a big sheltie fan I am now on my 4th & her name is Lady & that she is ! She is a tri colour & beautiful she is in my avatar with her sister Abby (a Golden retriever). We have had shelties for over 40 yrs. & they are the perfect dog. Goldens are pretty special as well. Good luck in your show !!!

We have had two Shelties and agree that they are beautiful dogs. We now have a tiny peke-a-poo as we live in town in a condo. A Shelti loves to bark way too much for in town close living. Your dog is a beauty!

She's gorgeous and they are such nice puppies (always our babies). We have 3 (pedigree mutts). They have different pedigrees in them. They're older but DH still calls them "puppies".

Good luck!!! Let us know how she does. My DH and I love Dog Shows. My friends think it is funny that we go to dog shows and we don't have a dog. It is like getting our dog fix without the mess..LOL............Anyway GREAT dogs and people at dog shows.

Beautiful blue merle girl. I have a blue merle cardigan welsh corgi bitch that I bred..she is gorgeous, she also finished early but developed Addison's disease at 2 yo so that put an end to her show career. She was exactly what I wanted for a foundation bitch but that didn't happen and she is a so very pretty pet. The other co-owner advised me to put her down but there was no way I could do that. She's got a forever home right here!

What a beautiful pup! I have a sheltie/collie mix who is shedding all 5-6 layers of coat right now so I admire those of you who show these and keep them perfectly groomed! :)

She is gorgeous. Good luck at the show. We had a Sheltie loved him ssoooooooooo much he was wonderful and so smart. Now we have a nice lab and a Catahoula leopard hound (she is a crazy wonderful pet).
