Most of the ones I can find patterns for are crochet-type bags.

You're welcome! The helper is not so cute when you're trying to finish a quilt at 4a.m. and you keep putting him down and he keeps climbing right back up, lol.

I think a nylon bag would work better than a washcloth... It would dry more quickly and harbor less bacteria.
http://www.etsy.com/listing/46126819...-soap-bags-set (to give you an idea-would be easy to make

This one is meant for produce, but shows how to make one from scrubby mesh (available @ Joanns for about $3/yd) http://www.myhappycrazylife.com/make...h-produce-bag/

Many people also refer to using an onion bag or pantyhose leg.

Thanks for sharing site. Now I know what to do with all soap thats too small to use. Put it all in the pouch. Great idea.

Now I'm in for it...and it's all your fault Bernie! I went to the site, loved the soap pouches. Then some other thing caught my eye. I learned how to make your own exfoliant. That was fun. Then I saw something else. I learned how to clean the inside of my dishwasher. Now I was in trouble. I started looking for something else. I found out how easy it is to clean those incredibly yucky burner pans. My cat had thrown up on the carpet this morning, so off I went to making your own carpet cleaner. Next was a link on how to clean those horrid little ground-in specks on your textured kitchen floor.

Now that I've been perusing that site for an hour, it's eleven p.m. I want to go to bed so I can get up early and clean my dishwasher, my stove pans and then get rid of all the horrid ground in dirt specks.

After that I'm on my back to see what other cool things I can get clean!
