Some advantages to being old(er)
. . . . . . . . . .
|
I stopped sweating the small stuff about 10 years ago when I was overwhelmed with big stuff.
Then I had breast and lung cancer, and I Really quit worrying about the small stuff. It never happens anyway. I think I can honestly say I'm as happy as I have ever been in this life. FlyLady has a lot to do with it too. Sharon, your friendship is also part of that happy circle, thank you, Sharyn |
Senior discount is one advantage.

Does the fact that you didn't list any mean that there aren't any?

Bear, you crack me up!!!! You always make me laugh. So even if you can't think of any advantage of being older you still have a great sense of humor! :D

The big minus - My body ain't what it used to be! My skin has shriveled, my dimensions have gotten bigger, and the law of gravity is in effect! |
I totally don't care what people think of anymore. I remember when that used to be my number 1 Priority. Wow!

My Dermatologist told me I didn't have enough wrinkles on my face so I needed a skin graft from my arm. Was that a good thing? oh well, it's done and I don't mind what wrinkles I have!

I agree, you stop caring about what other people think of you. As a wise man once said, "You wouldn't worry so much about what other people think of you if you realize how seldom they do."
Also you realize what is important in life. After losing my DH it takes a lot to get me upset. The little things are just not worth getting your knickers in a twist anymore. |
I enjoy being able to sew or quilt when ever I like.
