Sunrises and Sunsets.
A good book, a good chair, a fireplace and a nice quilt to cozy under.
Kindness, laughter, tenderness.
Starting a project, finishing a project. (as in quilting- grin)

Finishing a quilt
First blooms on the peach trees
A freshly cut lawn.
A clean flower bed.
Holding my first great grand baby.
A clean kitchen in the evening.
A good book..with all the time to read.
Family time together.
Quilty friends.

Moira I couldn't agree with you more.

All of the above (except maybe kisses from your parrot) And talking to my adult sons, just chatting

When I wake up, get my first cup of coffee and read all of the comments in Bearisgrays posts. Am always interested in Bears new questions even if I don't usually answer them. Thank you, Bear, for coming up with all these interesting topics. grammasharon

Lovely to wake up in the morning and read your creative, problematic, happy and sad posts. It's sunny here in CA again, my plants are surviving the rain and my son has survived open heart surgery. Life is good.

sometimes our kids wonder why dh and i are still together after 58 years of being married. sometimes we wonder, too!

but some of the things that he does that make my life brighter -he washes the kitchen floor
he says "thank you" when i iron his jeans
he is usually appreciative when i cook -
he usually will load and unload the car for me - without asking
he went bra shopping for me - !!!
i came home from sewing yesterday and the dishes were done and put away

and for now, i will skip some of the things that irritate me!

Things popping up in my garden. My cat sleeping on the deck railing. Sunshine on a snowy field. Stitching in my sunny window and many more.

having been able to babysit all of my grandkids and now great GD at some point in their lives.
quilting of course and friends- both at home and here on the board.

bearisgray you are right, I only have 45 to your 58 years, but yes- appreciate the little things and hop, skip, and jump over the irritating things he does, because we can't possibly be doing anything irritating,RIGHT??? HAHAHA
