That's about the best comeback I've heard, I love that, I will have to remember this and possibly use it sometime. Thanks!

Next time, don't let on to your husband that you were told and that will take the wind out of the kill - joy's sails.

HMM, the party is at YOUR house, so, does that mean they are cleaning it before and after the event? LOL!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy 25th anniversary. Sounds like you have a wonderful DH to think about throwing you the party. It's still a party, have a great time, don't let someone else spoil it for you.

I'm glad he will not be there. Have a wonderfull 25th Anniversary!

Reminds me of:
When it was my parents 25th my aunt stopped to inform us kids that she had invited lots of people over - she thought we had forgot to send out invites. Parents requested that we do nothing so being good kids we planned nothing. My sister ordered the cake for their anniversary and we got kool-aid to mix up. The night before a big windstorm came through and knocked down a lot of trees and it was a miss. When people came - us kids informed them that if they wanted cake they had to help clear the brush/trees to get to it. God works in mystrious ways. We had the place cleaned in 1 day. :D
