I received this in my e-mail from someone who knows i do charity sewing. Thought it might be of interest to others. If not, please delete. Thanks |
when you think about it, adaptive clothing is probably more needed than quilts. this is a wonderful project. thanks for bringing it to our attention. there's not enough that we can to to repay those that have given so much.

What a great thing they are doing for our heros! We need to do everything we possibly can for our soldiers and their families. My quilting group makes American Hero quilts for our wounded soldiers.

My sis worked with Wounded Warriors at WRMC for a period of time, and the adapted clothing is SO helpful IN SO MANY WAYS. Hospital rehab is much easier when you're able to wear "real" clothes versus hospital gowns, kwim?

I have heard of them about a yr ago I wish I could give to all of them but can't do it. I buy two readers digest for a yr to be sent to Iraq and things to the shoe box people here.

that is a great site thanks

I did this for two years...they take the clothes at Walter Reed and we had a Chaplain at our base that would deliver them for me.
