So sorry to hear your mishap.

Sounds like you'll need to get a new keyboard. I hope it's not on a laptop. In the future, might I suggest using an auto cup where you can close off the top. If you're prone to spills then I might also invest in a plastic cover. Keyboards themselves are not that expensive.

Let it air out...give it 24 hours or so and see if it works.

Very creative way to compensate! You must be a quilter

You can pop all the keys off individually with a pair of tweezers and clean underneath with q-tips and alcohol carefully.

A new keyboard sounds in order. I just had to replace mine because the W stopped working. Not sure why since I didn't spill anything on it. They aren't very expensive at all and I love the feel of my new keyboard better than the old one.

Great suggestion. Use an air can afterwards to remove all debris and put back together. Should work great and will not have to do to the expense of a new keyboard. They are actually quilt resilient and cleanable.

I just let mine dry, and it works most of the time, space bar doesnt always work now though!

Yes, try this first. Just make sure your computer is off and unplugged beforehand.

When a spill happens grab your hair dryer at once. Turn your keyboard upside down and dry with the dryer. It may not work but at least it is a quick solution.
I once spilled coffee on my laptop at work. I took it home and used my hair dryer on it. The laptop worked for about 6 mos. then stopped. The computer guy thought maybe it had been left in my car to many times had moisture over time. Whew!! Should have had the dryer sooner.
