speaking of my iron almost catching on fire...

I have been posting this week about the iron that went bad in my hands. Remember me? Almost caught another house on fire? Well...

What do you think happens when you are sitting at your desk..and suddenly your cross-cut shredder comes on? Well, I'll tell you. You look down and the corner of your table cloth in going through the blades. OMG!!! I am going to go to bed and never, ever...get out ever again!!!

The shower rod in our guest bath fell yesterday. And no one has used that bathroom for several weeks. At least I have clean ghosts :)

we had our picture taken for the church book one time
my free 8x10 flew off the shelf and right into my paper shredder, half the picture had shredded before I got it shut off, lucky I had already copied and saved it on the computer.

Could it be power surges? Could it be an electrical issue? Hmmmm. Keep your stuff unplugged. Try using a power strip with surge protector.

I think I would have the power company come out and check your incoming power. Have you had any instances where the lights either brown or brighten or where your microwave power doesn't seem just right? You may have a problem with your neutral and maybe getting more amps than you should. I had that happen and Consumers couldn't believe we didn't loose everything in the house that had motors, especially the refrigerator. It shouldn't cost anything and it's always better to be safe than experience a horrific house fire, especially when you have already survived one.
