We are so blessed in this country to have the military we do with all that they do for us to enjoy the life we have. God bless the fallen and those who still serve.

Saw this on Yahoo last night and I can say that tears were rolling down my cheeks. We need to thank our military men and women when we see one.

I had a few tears watching this and reading the story. Thanks for sharing.

How very touching and what a memorable ride for everyone on the plane, if that didn't touch their hearts there is something wrong with them. I always make an attempt to shake hands with service people in uniform regardless if it is at an airport or a local store. We should all be very thankful for their service and what it secures for us.

That is so touching.

I have tears in my eyes. Being a 20 yr. retired Navy family I am especially affected by these scenes. Thanks so much for letting us share this experience with you.

I'm afraid I'm a pretty cynical person these days, and when I just read a heartbreaking story, I'm never convinced it's true or is perhaps just one of those urban legends that fly through the internet. But to actually see the flag draped casket and hear the escort speaking to the passengers was truly moving. Thank you for sharing.

Me too. Right now my heart is aching for this fallen hero & his family. God Bless all of our soldiers who do their best to keep us all safe, while sacrificing everything that is near & dear to us. Thank you all.

Thank You! Sometimes it's hard to remember that there are still American families effected everyday because of fighting in foreign lands. Every morning a loved one gets up and prays for the life of their soldier to be protected for one more day, until He/She arrive home.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to see this touching tribute to one of our nation's heroes. We tend to forget what's happening so far away, and we should be reminded as often as possible of the price so many of our countrywomen and men are paying.

I salute.
