Special wedding present
 

My oldest grandson is getting married in March. The couple designed their own invitation. The design is made up of leaf-shaped trees in rust and olive greens with 2 blue birds underneath the trees. There is a reddish heart above the birds and there are small leaves falling from the larger leaves.

I am going to make a pillow with these designs appliqued on it (after I enlarge them enough). I hope that it turns out well. I was especially inspired to do this when they found a gold necklace with 2 love birds and a heart hanging from the chain. It was my Christmas present with instructions to wear it to the wedding! I will always cherish the love they expressed with this!

What a romance these two must have, lucky them. I think an applique pillow sounds lovely. Be sure and post when you are done. :)
