For those I spoke with in chat that still had snow and I was bragging about my 68* weather should know that I am now experiencing 36* weather after the rain moved thru. I guess Mother nature is still telling me not yet. hahha

I took these photos this morning before the WIND could blow all the blooms to the ground. And it's cold in North Alabama.....brrrrr.

I hope the warm weather returns by next week because DH and I will be leaving Ohio to go to Louisiana for a week to visit family. I am so tired of cold temps, ice, and snow. I am ready to see green grass, trees/flowers blooming, sunshine and blue skies. I'm not asking for much so I hope Mother Nature is listening.

Lovely Magnolia. I have an identical one beside my house, blooming in a gorgeous cloud of purple and lavender. Lots and lots of blooms here in my town, and I go out in a heavy coat because it's just miserable weather.

My husbands Loves the Magnolia tree. Trouble is the blooms don't last long it seems.

We call it a Tulip Tree. The green leaves that come after the blooms are soft not hard like a magnolia tree. It blooms early and some years the cold will kill the blooms before they open up. That is usually the years that it gets the peach crop also.

Love your magnolia tree. We are having snow again. And it hasn't stopped snowing yet. Coming down hard once more.
