Just want to share a few pics with you. We raise mostly dorset sheep. Our shearer did 52 sheep in 3 hours.

Beautiful animals and a lot of hard work. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing with us!
I love the picture of the ewe with her babies - she looks like she's smiling with that "I know they're precious" look on her face! lol |
I can't even get my dogs hair cut in 3 hours your amazing
|
How cool, I could almost smell the lanolin! Mom and Dad had sheep when I was young and this brought back memories of "shearing day." Do you keep and spin the wool or do you sell it? The babies are so cute. I remember every now and then having to bring one in a bottle feed it.

Less than three ans a half minutes a sheep! I'm impressed! Do you spin your wool?
|
Wow - what wonderful pictures, though they do look a bit cold with out their fleece!
|
Poor fellas! They look naked and need quilts to wrap up in! ;)

Great pics! I went to a open house at Hancock Shaker village in Mass and they had sheep shearing demos. It is amazing how quick a good shearer can do it. Your's must work at warp speed.
Love the pic of the ewe with babies. I didn't know ewes had horns! It also makes me feel guilty for loving to eat lamb as much as I do  |
