We have had a mild winter but I always look forward to spring.

nativetexan 01-26-2017 05:15 PM

I shouldn't complain. just moved back to Texas from Colorado and haven't had much winter yet!

QuiltnLady1 01-26-2017 09:23 PM

Our weather was freezing for a long while and now it has warmed up and I have stuff coming up. Hope we don't have any more heavy freezes.

Hot dog!! MY world prefers spring and summer. :D

sinceresissy 01-27-2017 04:47 AM

I am waiting for the sun. Where is the sun? Kansas City has lost it's sun. I can't wait for spring. This has been a really grey winter.

Joset 01-27-2017 05:03 AM

yahoo i am ready

illinois 01-27-2017 05:55 AM

I've got a lot of sewing/quilting to get done before then!

gramma nancy 01-27-2017 08:14 AM

Am I ever ready. Actually, it has been a relatively mild winter along the Eastern seaboard. I love the days getting longer. Unfortunately, I have to wait til Mother's Day, rather than March 21, to do the heavy gardening like planting tomatoes, etc. I will tide myself over getting some lettuce and spinach planted. maybe I'll try peas this year.

Miss M....the bearer of GLAD tidings. I'm soooo eager for Spring. Season Affect Disorder SUCKS!!

I'm so ready for Spring! We have had snow on the ground since December 25 which is very unusual. Still not able to use our little road - it is drifted over. We are driving through a field in order to get to the hiway!

lynnie 01-27-2017 01:47 PM

lets hope we don't get snow this spring. i'm ready for anything.

I am with you. This seems to be the grayest and gloomiest winter I can remember. Cold would be better with sunshine.

zzmom 01-27-2017 07:48 PM

Yeah!! Can't wait for warmer temps!

ctrysass2012 01-27-2017 09:54 PM

I'll also be glad for warmer weather. Major snow storm last weekend. Between my house & my clients I have been shoveling 4 days.

lindaschipper 01-28-2017 04:15 AM

Thank you! I'm so tired of being cold here in Iowa...ready to move to a warmer climate, but husband likes it here!

Stitchnripper 01-28-2017 05:00 AM

WE moved to a place with four seasons vs. two, and I am doing okay in our version of winter. The saving grace is that even this far north the southern sun is very warm and we get respites from cold wet gloom and that seems to be enough to keep me from taking to my warm bed!!! I do best in warm sunny weather.

carolynjo 01-28-2017 08:55 AM

I plan to finally have an herb garden as I can't do much outside any more.

ube quilting 01-28-2017 01:36 PM

We still have to get through the wonderful month of February and oh, then there's March. I am so looking forward to Spring, yippie!

JoyjoyMarie 01-31-2017 01:04 PM

I caught the bug and went out to the shed Saturday to pot up some geranium cuttings. It felt sooo good to get out, and the shed kept the wind off, so I could enjoy the process. Love getting into the dirt!
