wow, I was just watching a show last night about people whose house was infested with squirrels! You are lucky it was only one!!!

A good idea is to find out how it got in, do you have any vents that lead out? We seen what happens to a house when you have sterio`s vented to the outside, it even had a heavy duty screen nailed over it. The people were gone on vacation, and when they came home the house was a mess. That little imp chewed up all the window sills, torn down curtins, banged on the windows so hard it bled, and bled all over the house on carpets, drapes, sofas, chairs, cupboards. You cannot believe what that house looked like.

Wow, we had the same thing happen last week! We woke up to noises in the attic and knew instantly what it was...a squirrel. Called the critter people, he caught 3 squirrels and repaired a hole. It's hard to stay 'squirrel free' when our neighborhood is lined with tree's, neighbor won't trim back his hedges, and the kids next door love feeding them in our driveway.

Until next time...

That is priceless. Too bad they didn't have a camera. Americas Funniest would have loved to show that.:):):):)

Several years ago when my mother was alive she stopped by our house on a summer afternoon on her way home from the grocery store, left her car windows open. We were sitting in the backyard watching the kids in the pool when a neighbor hollered at us and wanted to know if the car in front of the house belonged to someone here. He said, "Well, you have a squirrel in here eating a banana!" Mom hustled out...it had not only eaten a banana but helped itself to some peaches and grapes as well.

Now I wish that I was there to see that. Not as bad as the 3 snakes I found in my bathroom while sitting on the toilet. No one was home but me. Great story to tell the kids.

The story was good, and the you-tube had me laughing! Good start to a snowy Saturday.

Reminds of the time when we had the family Thanksgiving dinner at our house, 21 people total, and my cat brought in a squirrel and it got loose! Wish we had a video of everyone chasing the poor thing until it finally ran out the back door and up my neighbor's oak tree. We could just imagine the tale it told to the other squirrels!

I had a pet squirrel, raised it from an unweened baby. It pretty much had the run of the house. I think the dogs thought it was some kind of midget dog, lol. It was brought to me by the game warden. They can be very tame when hand raised.
