Exactly!! That was my immediate thought. I mean, really, how often do lampshades get jostled? Just put some clear tape on it. And turn it. Out of sight, out of mind.

Probably not. The Y shaped crack is ever so slightly jostled a bit. So it's not smooth. I'm liking the turn toward a wall better all the time. In fact, it's destined for a corner so it's really not going to be seen.
