Steak Knives set

I need a good steak knife set. 4 to 6 maybe. but good ones. I gave away many years old ones i had. two sets. wish i hadn't. so any suggestions. so far reviews on many are terrible, from rust to breaking when dropped.

For my money Cutco is the best. Mine are over 20 years old and I've never had to have them sharpened (which Cutco will do free of charge) and we use them almost daily.

I have a set of Wusthof for years. Still sharp. They never go in dishwasher.

My local Costco just had a guy selling Cutco knives at a big discount. I got a set over 20 years ago and love them.

My son sold cutco for a while and since I paid for the starter set I got it when he quit selling them I love them all especially the kitchen scissors! you can cut wire with them and not hurt them a bit! I love all my knives, even inherited my mom's after she passed.

My cutco knives will be 29 years old Christmas and never been sharpened. One of my late Brothers paid 450.00 for them. They are wonderful.

I have Wusthof and love them. I have had them more than 30 years and still sharp. I never heard of Cutco but reviews sound interesting.

I usually pick up things like that at a place like Marshalls (discounted items, like seconds). Any brand that’s made in Germany is probably more well-made.
