Sticky residue on fabric-how do i remove
Hi,
Does anyone know how to remove a sticky residue off of fabric. I bought a pair of Capri's and the long sticky label attached to the leg left a residue. I don't want to wash them until I get it off. It's only a light amount, but it has a tiny sheen to it where the sticky residue is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kathy |
I've had this on t-shirts and washing will took it out. If you don't want to wash, you might try goo be gone.

Try washing it first.....don't dry it and see if that works.

Okay, thanks a bunch :)

Somebody else just posted this exact same question recently, and the responses ranged from washing, to dabbing with rubbing alcohol, Goo Gone, or Goof-Off. There might have been other responses, but those are the ones I remember.

they need to be washed....that's what takes it out- it is made to wash away- if you try to pre-treat the area before washing them you take a chance of discoloring the area

you speaketh wisely ;-)

Well, I washed them and forgot to let them air dry. There's still a light sheen. What would all of you do now since I washed them?
