storage for embroidery stabilizers

I recently purchased a Destiny 2 and have begun learning embroidery. Please share your storage secrets for all
These different stabilizers as well as any tips for handling and using them them. Thank you.

Congrats on your new machine! Is this your first emb machine or an update to the hobby? What threads are you going to use?

My favorite workbook. https://www.rnkdistributing.com/reso...Stabilizer.pdf

I store them a couple of different ways using the wire basket systems found here. These are easy to arrange according to your storage needs. I have two sets on wheels under the cutting table. Threads are stored in the single drawers.

There is also an extension that fits on the side. I use it for large rolls.

The flat tear-away or cut away stabilizers are stored flat on top of the wire carts.

For the large hoops, I hang them on the wall. Install two hooks side by side so they will hang level. I put labels (name/size) on my hoops as I take classes at our local dealer.

This is what I made for my stabilizers. Don't remember where I got pattern; I think I may have googled it. I really like it, and wanted something that didn't take up any room, as my sewing room is so crowded I can barely move around.

Mine are in a shoe bag on the back of my door. A purse holder works well also, if you have enough clearence between the door and the wall.

Sash, the following site has a pattern from Sulky that makes the one on your wall

I bought an over the door stabilizer storage bag from Nancys Notions for less than $20. It is similar to the one by sash above, with clear bags and a beige canvas back, similar to the one posted by sash, but not as fancy. I also bought a second one to store my FMQ rulers.

I store mine in a wine rack.

Ikea has a storage container … it is white plastic and it is curved with holes (I don't remember the name of it). A lot of people use it for their vinyl rolls (scrapbooking). You can google storing scrapbook vinyl and see photo's. It is super cheap.

I thought Kreative Kiwi had a free stabilizer holder pattern but it's a hoop holder instead. That may also be of interest to you. It's a free pattern but you have to join to get the freebies. Joining is free. Here's the link https://www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/blog/671142

Me too! It's fun to see the same idea working for others.
