I just got back on as it rained all afternoon with thunder and lightning and now just a light rain

My brother near Alexandria had 3 inches in about an hour. His barn lot, the road in front of his house and his 55 acre corn field across from his house is underwater right now. I just saw the pictures on Facebook.

now the sun is shining in Indiana at 8:50 p.m. glad the rain is over for now

It got dark, then darker, and then it just kept going West so we ended up with a sunny day here in Lexington. This old Grandma actually got out and played volleyball with all the kids in the pool. First time I've joined in with their play and I had a ball. Surprised the heck out of them that I could serve like I did!! I dread seeing how I will be in the morning!!LOL

Oh I hope it reaches the Cincinnati area I need rain for my veggie plants.

We had bad weather here yesterday. I was sitting in my sewing room and heard this big thunder and I jumped. I thought my DH must have blown up his shop.LOL. I looked and the sun was shining, nice big white clouds...a few minutes later more thunder, the clouds rolled in, it got dark and it rained hail and rained drops. Then while watching it all started blowing almost completely sideways away from teh house. Really scary. Now today it is just about 100 and so muggy. Still supposed to get more rain. I love the rain if I don't have to get out in it.
