tebill posted a wall hanging she made and explained how she monted it using magets she purchased from a store. I went to the site and ordered some magnets. I am very happy with them, as I can now display my wall hangings on the inside of my metal door and enjoy them..........This is tebills http://www.quiltingboard.com/tpr?p=4511886&t=162005
Thank you I will post mine.......calla

I had missed the post about hanging a quilt with magnets. I recently bought some of those really strong ones to put in a purse for my mom. It was hilarious working with them with everything attracted to them. I was sitting there by myself laughing up a storm! That is a good idea to use them on a hanging for a door- thanks!

watch using them by your computerized sewing machines. Magnets do not get along with computers.

amyfo is correct about the sewing machines. But I wondered about the post I have read R/T the Harbor Freight magnetic bowls the are used for pins.............calla
