stuffed animal toys

Does anyone know an organization that takes stuffed animal toys to recycle or give away? I have a ton of them and I really want someone to use them.

Check with your local Sheriff or City Police Dept. Some carry a few around for little ones who are scared.

Maybe even the local Family shelters might take some.

also, shelters for women and children who are victims of domestic violence might accept them. that's were my DD's animals and toys went.

Wish you lived closer! We have a group of ladies that take gently used stuffed animals...gives them a bath and sprucing up then at Christmas they are gifts for deaf and hard of hearing children that go visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. Both the Santa and Mrs. Claus are either deaf or fluent in sign language. Schools with deaf or HH children bus the kiddos to the Air National Guard for a morning of fun...a parade, meet Santa and sit on his lap and tell him what they want for Christmas then receive a stuffed animal and warm hat and scarf, also have games and crafts set up for the kids to do, followed with lunch. It's a wonderful day for them. I've been blessed to be a part of it for the past 2 years. I hope to do it for many years to come...if you google Silent Sleigh, Fresno, CA you will find some information about it...
