I know you can get patterns like Simplicity and McCalls. Have you tried googling it. I can't imagine there aren't free stuff animal patterns.

In fact, I just googled free stuffed animal patterns and a whole bunch of sites came up.

Have fun!!

I've made a couple of Carol's Zoo patterns. There is a website with lots of pics at carolszoo.com

I used to make the odd soft toy here and there. There was one book that my school library had that I used to love - made a few from that book. It had patterns for various toys from squirrels, mice and kittens to polar bears and lions - almost all are made from fur fabric.

I managed to track down a copy of the book again a few years ago on eBay - It's called 'The Creative Book of Soft Toys' by Sue Quinn (Cover looks like this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Books/Nonfi...-284001270.htm ). It's a pretty old book - think it's from the 80s or 90s, but sometimes sellers on Amazon have it.

'Soft Toys to Sew' by Sheila McGraw has a few nice patterns in it too, but there are some I don't like so much in that book, so I wouldn't recommend it as much.
