I know an older lady named Oella. And people who choose bible names could use Huzz and Buzz. Have some friends who have a Misty Dawn and a Tiersa(Tearz-a) Love!

I think I will add Melba to my list! I remember hearing that one before.

I have a cousin named Belva. All 3 are old fashioned Southern names!

my nephews are Kristopher Jon and Kyle Jonathan. Weird.

My friends are Norman and Norma. They have 2 kids- Norman and Norma.

My sister's friend named her kid Precious.

Hubby is Jerry Sr. and we have Jerry Jr. It's not Big Jerry and Little Jerry since Jr. is now 26, it's Jerry the Young and Jerry the Younger, since hubby says he is not old.

My husband comes from the land of 2-names people.

Daryl-Keith
Barbara-Jo
Donna-Sue
Marsha-Kay
Janna-Lyn

And YES they that's how they talk to them. "Daryl-Keith you going to see your mother?" "Marsha-Kay how is that baby?"

I guess it's not too bad. He did marry a Cindi Jo, lol

Just don't call me that!! It makes me duck! My Momma only called me that when I was in deep trouble and about to get popped!!

Had some former church members who girls were named Misty and Fair....mother in law decided many many years ago if she had another child, boy or girl, its name would be Frances (or Francis) Dale....she got a girl and she doesn't even acknowlege Frances...goes by Dale.....I think (and I may be wrong) but the Dale was influenced by the Dale's steak sauce !!!

My grandmother wanted a boy as her first child, but got a girl and named her Mary George ! When she finally had a boy his name was George also !

I know a Sidona Willameena Attaleena , There just was no nick name either. I think it bothered her a lot.

In former husbands family we had
Big Jim
Little Jim
Baby Jim
Big Jesse and Little Jesse
Big Jesse was married to Delores (who was called Lori) so we also had Big Lori and Little Lori.
At least I named my 3 daughters normal names like Susan, Sandra, and Sharon LOL

When I was doing an OB rotation in school, a mother named her daughter Vagina - "Because that's where she came from"! can you imagine that poor girl in school?

Saw a mug shot in the paper for a guy that was wanted by the law - his first name was "Notorius."

Had a friend named Byrolene that left our church for another one. A few years later I saw her picture in the paper in an advertisement for a business she'd started. They had her name as Barbara. I asked her sister if she was now using a middle name or did the paper get her name wrong. Sis said no, "Byrolene" is just a nickname. Go figure!
