Suggestions for Day Trips

Our adult community is looking for ideas for a Fall day trip. We like to eat, shop, and see new things. We will be traveling from the Toledo, Ohio area and can go a couple of hours one way. Suggestions?? This spring we went to Fort Wayne for the Vera Bradley sale and had a lot of fun.
Thanks for your help.

1. Sauder Village in Archbold, OH? 2. Put-In-Bay and the other islands-you can catch a ferry from Port Clinton. There are wineries, Perry Monument, etc. 3. Milan, OH -Rt 250 exit on the Turnpike-Thomas Edison's Birthplace, a nice museum and antique stores, there are restaurants along Rt 250 towards Sandusky. Just google Ohio, Michigan or Indiana tourist attractions. There is a lot to see within a couple of hours drive from Toledo.

Millersburg, Ohio is about 2.5 hours one way from you. I think there are quilt shops and other shops too.

Shipshewana, Indiana is in Amish country, has a large flea market twice a week, quilt shops, antique shops, Yoder's store, etc.
