Summer is officially here
 

:thumbup: I declare today the first official day of summer. An ice cream truck went down my street today. I haven't seen/heard one in my town for a couple of years. Of course it wasn't the Good Humor man I remember from my long ago youth, but it'll do. :o

And what a gorgeous summer day we have in Minnesota!

I can't decide if it's summer or winter here in WI. One day last week I had the A/C on. The next I had the furnace cranked up. What gives? And where's an ice cream truck when you need it (like everyday???)? Sounds mighty good about now!!!

Actually, my calendar says the first day of summer is the 20th of June. We are getting some very much needed RAIN in Alabama today.

Yep, it hit 104 here on Friday. So I'd say that was summer all right.

We hit 110 last week...but then again, it's Arizona, so what can I say?

What I want to know is, did you pull a hamstring trying to run after the ice cream truck? I would have, especially if I was in the midst of a chocolate craving.

In our area, I say it is officially Spring when the ice cream trucks show up, they have been out for several weeks now. I said it was officailly Summer because the mimosa trees are in bloom.

Yesterday we had sun and rian and sun and rain.......... and hail too......, al day long and it is still raining today.

I've never lived in a neighborhood where there were enough kids for an ice cream truck to come by.

But a few years ago, there was an ice cream truck that went by the street in front of my store. It drove us nuts... because unlike kids, we were never able to get out to the street fast enough to flag him down!
