Grandbabies are wonderful!

Midwestmary 02-06-2011 05:07 PM

great picture! My little grandson just went home - he was proudly wearing his Vikings jersey :) Yes, grandchildren are really a blessing!

They will come back and make a new record by winning after being 10 points behind at 1/2 time!!! :)

What happened with Christina Agulara when she sang the national anthem? It's not a bad performance because she forgot the words, it's because she was all over the place with her notes.

If God Blesses my daughter I hope to have one. She had AML and had to had a bone marrow transplant 3 years ago so they don't think she will be able too, but I know its up to the good Lord if he wants her too she will.

Re the National Anthem. . .

I noticed that, too. It's almost as though she forgot where the notes should be! Sometimes, I think when they do those runs, the runs take on a life of their own and take the singer away from the melody they're singing!

I have noticed when a performer trys to get "cute" with the national anthem they have a tendancy to forget the words. I don't understand why they just don't sing it to the best of their ability. Christina Agulara has a good set of pipes, she would have done a great job if she just sang it the right way.

And what's with Black Eye Peas...
never heard them before but it is awful.

Jory

I saw on the internet that she left out a few words.

Tamara 02-06-2011 05:16 PM

This is the worst half time show ever....

diogirl 02-06-2011 05:19 PM

Black eyed peas sound better in a recording studio, not live...

diogirl 02-06-2011 05:20 PM

They're singing Time Of My Life? Really?

I'm with you, just sing it the way it was written!

diogirl 02-06-2011 05:32 PM

Too many singers like to show off their singing abilities. LeAnn Rimes is one who will do that. I like her singing but when she does the National Anthem, she's all over the place with notes and yodles...

sewwhat85 02-06-2011 05:37 PM
