I had my cataract surgery yesterday and everything went fine. I even got to look at it after it was taken out! Funny looking thing---it was a gelatinous glob of golden goo with dark flecks in it. Anyway, I was awake during the surgery. I know have about a half inch incision above my left iris, my eyeball is red and angry looking and my face is bruised and swollen but all is going well. If a few more days I should be able to see again and without my glasses! Right now it's really blurry though and still pretty sore.

Glad all went well. My mom had both eyes done last year. PLEASE listen to what your Doctor has ordered. My mom lifted too soon and it caused her problems. Take it easy.
