sweat shirt jackets for Grandkids

I made one for DGD and one for DGS. I left the sleeves in place since I wasn't covering them with the denim.

Nice job - I am sure they will love them!

nicely done

This is exactly what I want to do -- put fabric on the front, but not mess with the sleeves. How did you attach the strip that was near the sleeve seam and side seam? I can't seem to picture how to do that part. I know about cutting off the neckline and bottom trim and I have the fleece binding for that. Just can't figure out the one strip on the out end.
Any advice would be appreciated! |

Any advice would be appreciated! I also used part of the bottom band for the neck binding. |

I just carefully cut those strips so I could fold them under and around the sleeve seam. Then I top stitched it close to the seam.
