Has anyone clever figured out how to refill the bottle without running out for more? Prices in NYC are really high!

No, but do you have Wal Mart. They are quite reasonable there where I live.

No Wal Mart
Every now & then I go to Costco

I guess that no refill yourself was part of the way to sell swiffers.

Of course, but a drill, a cork, your own mixture?

That sounds like a great idea :D:D:D

Guess I don't understand about the *re-filling* part. I use the swiffer with dry replaceable pads

I don't use the wet one. But the dry one--I cut up leftover pieces of cotton batting and just pitch it when I am done. If I want it wet--I just put a little water on it.

There are several "how-to's" on the internet for this. Do a google search "how to refill a swiffer bottle" and you should get tons of hits. My mom refills hers all the time.
