T-fal fryer

Does anyone have a t-fal actifryer....saw one demonsrated...uses about a tbspn on oil to "fry" things......amazon seems to have best price..but wonder if really as great as it seems!!

Are there any reviews on Amazon? The reviews there usually help me decide whether to buy something or not.

I have had one for 2 1/2 years & can't imagine not having one. Does a great job & with next to no oil - it really does use only a Tbsp !!
For a family, I would recommend the larger size as you might find the regular size too small. Make sure you follow the directions especially for "drying" the moisture out of the potatoes or your fries will not be crisp. We all buy "toys" that end up in the cupboard, for me, this is not one of them. I use mine all the time & love it. Hope this helps.

Callen....yes thanks your info was very helpful. I would only need small one........but now I know it is a possibility

....on second thought....just went to amazon...good price, but the reviews were leaning toward bad rather than good...so I shall wait and continue to use my oven/ toaster oven......for now

Yes I have one as well and my daughter and son have them and find them fantastic. I love the oven chips done in it and do not add any oil as they have a coating on them so are really crisp and dry. One of my best buys.

love mine - I was hesitant about the bad reviews as well, but I think some people just don't read the directions.....works great!

I have one and 40 mins for fries takes to much time. Good for stir frys

I must say that I am surprised if there seems to be a lot of negativity as the only downside I would repeat is the price, as it runs almost $200.00 here in Canada but they have come down in price since I bought mine. As I said in my previous post, make sure you follow the directions or your fries will not be crispy. My fries don't take 40 min. - more like 30 but the fact it's healthier not to mention SAFER than a deep fryer, makes it a "great buy" for me. IMHO. LOVE mine.
