Most of the extenguishers are multitask ones (ABC)---one use only. they need replaced. There was a time when you could have them refilled, but not anymore, at least not here.

Kudos to your Grandson! He knew what to do and where things were kept. He has a great Grandma and angels who keeps him safe.The saftey lectures along the way have stuck!

I came from a family of firefighters and leaving the house with things left on was a strick no-no! My dad would walk the house and check plugs. I've seen houses destroyed because someone left the dryer on.
