Does anyone out there watch "The Talk" with connie chung? Last week they were talking about what they do with arm pit hair. Connie said that she plucks hers out. Ouch wouldn't that hurt really bad. Now I wonder how often she has to pluck, maybe it would be worth the pain if you would only have to have it done like every 3 mo. Anyone know how fast it would grow back?

Oh man this should be good last thread like this was hilarious. I have not heard this and would not want to pluck my pits!

Have no idea about the show, but Connie Chung is Asian. Typically body hair is not a major issue with Asian people it is usually fairly sparse. Personally, being of Celtic and Mediterranean stock plucking out individual body hair could possibly end up being a life's work. I suppose you could get it waxed....but shaving is no effort at all and you could just go au naturel and leave it.

plucking eyebrows is my ouch quota Connie!

I do watch the show sometimes and it is Julie Chen NOT Connie Chung.
There is NO WAY, I would pluck underarm hairs, OUCH, OUCH!!!!

Can't imagine. A friend had hers waxed years ago and was absolutely miserable for a week. Could not put her arms down or brush her hair. We laugh now but she was in tears for days.

Grosssssss..... is all I can think of..

I am afraid I would have to braid mine before I would go through the PAIN of plucking. LOL

I pluck, No it doesn't hurt. Waxing it yes. It stings a little, but when its one by one, Nope. As far as grow back. If I shave it, then I have to shave every few days and it ALL grows back and grows back quickly.
Now plucking, and I love this, It doesn't ALL grow back. it comes back in finer and less of them. The more you pluck they less you have to pluck And I can go a couple of weeks without having to pluck.
Keeps smooth, no ingrown hairs, razor rash and other such things.
I have taught my teenager daughter to pluck. She did her own experiment and prefers plucking to. She says the same as me, less hair to deal with.
