telemarket phone calls
Can anyone give me the national number so these people will not call my home again.

Sorry although I signed up for it a few years back I no longer have the nationl number.
You know they never do stop trying, if they can't sell stuff they call saying it's a survey and end up trying to sell you stuff. Whenever DH answers any of these calls he just hangs up, he says since they are rude and distrubing him with unwanted phone calls he'll be rude back and hang up. Do they care? I don't think so. |
just google it.

here you go
https://www.donotcall.gov/ To register by telephone (US), consumers may call 1-888-382-1222. or you can just put the phone down and walk away. |
THANK YOU, thank you, thank you. I, too have been wondering how to stop the calls.

We are on the Do Not Call Registry. Believe me, it doesn't stop all the calls; I wish it did.

I've had them call with that, "this isn't a telemarketing call, it's a survey" stuff also - I say, "Why are you calling here, we are on the no-call list?"
Then they say, "oh, that doesn't apply to us, this is a survey" - theeeen... I say, "it applies as far as I am concerned - goodbye" |
No, it doesn't stop it. BUT, when you get a call, whether recording or a real person and you've told them to not call and you're on the list you just need to make an official complaint. The form is on their website. I've done that with 3 companies. One of the companies called me 3 times a day and the other two called at least once a day. After I reported it to the Donotcall website, within 1 week the calls stopped!!!

Yeah, the so-called surveys are exempt from the DNC registry. What a pain.
