We have a lot of members here from Tennessee, does anyone know if they're all OK? Does anyone know of anyone that needs our assistance? If you're from Tennessee, please give a shout out so we know everything is OK?

Some of them were keeping us informed during the storm in the following link:

My prayers and thoughts are with them and others who had to weather this storm and its aftermath.

a major need is drinking water. Nashville area is in a boil water situation. Some groups (Red Cross) are raising money to buy water. It is really a mess. Very ususual for the downtown area to flood. The Cumberland has really made a mess of the town.

Prayers to all the folks underwater.

I live in Northeast Tennessee and we have been extremely lucky. We were supposed to have gotten huge amounts of rain when Nashville was hit. But it missed us. We did get one night of heavy rain, but nothing near what other parts got.

My heart aches for what Nashville residents are going through. I hope their lives can get back to near normal very soon.

I'm in northeast TN as well and we were spared. My heart breaks for all those who were affected. I've been to the area that was hit and can't imagine it under water. I know the Red Cross is there helping from our region and tonight locally they are having a fund raiser. RC says they need monies to help as they can get things in bulk for less than if individuals buy and send things themselves.
It will take a long time to get that area back to it's old self -- beautiful!

Prayers going out to all involved.

My son works for a restoration and recovery services company based in Georgia. They left Georgia to go to Nashville on Sunday to start the cleanup process and will probably be there for some time. He has been on a number of these trips this year to other states as well. The effects of weather like this is devastating and can be very dangerous. I am praying for a quick and safe recovery for the victims and all of the workers as well.

Those poor people, what a mess, they are sure needing our good thoughts.

I live in West Tennessee half way between Memphis and Nashville. All this area was hit hard. Personally we are ok we live on a small hill and did not get damage, just couldn't get into or out of town for 24 hrs. Husband had appointment in Nashville at VA on Monday of course had to cancel. Interstate 40 was closed in both directions. Water seems to be the main problem as it is unsafe to drink. Red Cross is doing a great job. Thanks for your concern and prayers.....
