I did it!!! Guess an old :D can learn new tricks! (In case anyone's wondering, I deleted the photo so as not to take up space here.)

I don't see a photo except for the avatar. Is that what you are talking about?
Was posting as you were. Now I understand.

I did wonder, but just like gazing at your quilt inspector. He or she is gorgeous. Sadly, owning an Akita means that I cannot have a cat..... but one can dream!

That's what they told us about our Dobermans, but we had up to 3 Dobies at once of rescue dogs, and they lived quite easily with our two cats. In fact, each cat had "his own" dog, that they roomed with at the vet's when we boarded them, to the horror of the vet!!! Each dog had his/her own cat in the cage with them for a week at a time, the cats removed only for feeding. They refused to share with the dogs, who wound up with bloody noses!!

Doesn't anyone ever have Akita and cats at the same time?

My Siberian/wolf had her own cat. They had a great time together. My Siberian/Shiba Inu had her own cat for a year until I got her a companion dog. The Border Colllie mix was fine with the cat, too.
