I am overwhelmed with the good wishes everyone has posted on my thread about my son. Each and everyone of you has touched me and I say thank you so much for all the support, you have no idea what it has meant to me. I'm sending my son the link to this thread so he can see all the wonderful things posted here. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

The military is a great place for our troubled youth to go. Your son has found a purpose, and we are grateful for his service. My husband served in the navy for 8 years after high school. The skills he learned enabled him to be a wonderful provider for our family. The friends we made are some of our most valued. Whether he stays in as a career, or only several years, he made a great choice, and he's quite lucky to have a Mom guide him in the right direction.
