I just want to say thank you to everyone on this board who were kind enough to keep us in their prayers. My DH has been unemployed for nearly a year. Yesterday he got a firm job offer, and starts working tomorrow! He will be working for a government contractor, so he will be back to making a nice living.
I, on the other hand am thrilled to see him go back to work before I was forced to do something drastic. Have you ever had to deal with an unemployed workaholic? It's like having a hyperactive six year old in the house. Whoopee! I get to have quiet me (read quilty) time again.
Again thanks for all your prayers. You did this for us. Is there any need this board will not try to meet? I think not.
I thank God everyday for letting me stumble onto this site. God bless you all.

I am very happy for you & your family. I am married to a workaholic & have been for 32 years, so I do know how it is when they cannot go to work. Ugh! Just fall back into a pattern that works well for all of you & hopefully that will involve lots of quilty time. Or here time. LOL

My husband was unemployed for about 20 months. He got depressed and didn't want to do anything at one point. With him being older he had many interviews, and was in the running several times, but they always went with the other person. One day a person that he had worked for several years ago called and asked if he wanted to come back there. We are very blessed, never went hungry, and were always able to pay our bills during all this. God is good.
