Just needed to say that I am!!! We were very concerned about the blizzard as we have no alternate heat source and our power here goes out easily.Made it through yesterday, and woke up to lots of snow, but the ice missed us and the sun is SHINING!!! I am thankful!!! Prayers are a good thing!

Nothing as uplifting as a good praise report!

If I have to pick, I'll take snow any time, instead of ice. We only got a glazing of ice and then 8-10 inches of snow. We were lucky.

Ohhhh I am thankful too...we have lots of snow (15-17 inches) lots of drifts...but at least we have heat and electricity. Actually the snow is beautiful..to bad I have to go back out and shovel some more!!

We didn't get half of what they predicted. Supposed to get 12-16" and we got maybe 5". It was sleeting from 3-4 AM, but only a few things are glazed. Mark went to work and said the roads were better today than yesterday.

I'm so glad they closed school last night or I might have been at work today.

Ditto. Very grateful for the knowledge and technology we now have to predict such events - at least one can be prepared as opposed to my parent's generation.

We only got 15-18 inches of snow, but as far as I know no power outages. We had a 30 inch base, so it's getting deep out there. My garden shed is slowly disappeariing.

I, too, am very thankful that the power stayed on and we didn't get ice. Like I tell the dogs every morning, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us be thankful and rejoice in it."

Liking your attitude!

Whoops, I posted that wrong. I think it should have been 'let us be glad and rejoice'. Ah, well, thankful and glad go together in my book.
