Isn't it amazing that all those old timers were always so funny and not a dirty joke or vulgar language among them. Remember the Sid Ceaser (sp) show, everyone on Carol Burnett's show, Danny Kaye - so many others. Boy, I miss them all.

Bob Hope was truly a National Treasure!
Just last night we saw a funny movie he was in with Lana Turner. He always made me laugh :D
A fine person that touched soooooo many lives!!

I think that might have been from seeing them on tv. Dad was a soldier during WWII and got to see Bob Hope. Dad said it was such a vulgar show that he walked out. He never liked him after that and never wanted to see any performer in person after that. He said that seeing them in person was different that seeing them on tv with all the censorship. He preferred just watching them on tv. He loved Red Skelton.
