to the Topic Log for previous posts? I had just found the one I was looking for when my server kicked me offline. When I got back on, the Topic Log only came up with the newest list; it did not show the list I had been on.

Please help. BTW I am not very computer literate :-)

If you can remember what was in the topic line try finding that post by clicking on Search (up on the top of the page under The Quilter's Message Board) and typing in the topic.

If I'm interested in a topic I add a comment to it so when I want to re-read the post and its comments I click on My Posts and I'm right back on the topic.

I tried doing a search, but didn't find it. It had to do with charity/donation quilts. I got 1 page up & what I was looking for was not on the list.
I didn't have a chance to bookmark it or make a comment before my server said it encountered a problem & had to close. And BAM I was back at my desktop screen.

in the list of choices at the top of the page look for "Topic Log". That will be a list of things you have recently viewed. It's in the bottom row - third from the right.

I think the original poster said her Topic Log list got zapped when her computer went down.

I've found that the list is only "good" for as long as my computer is running.

When I shut it down, the list goes away and it starts over with the new topics when I come back.

These are the three that I found when I went to search and put in Charity Quilts, then went to advanced and checked to list the most recent ones first. There are a lot of posts about charity quilts, so if one of these is not the one you are looking for, try to remember some of the other 'unusual' words in the post and do the above search again. since it was a recent post, be sure to click on advanced and check the most recent first box. If it was posted under pictures go to the top of the page and click home, then pictures. It will take a while to click through all the posts but if you can't remember the topic name I find you can find it eventually.

I finally found it by searching through the links above.

Thank you all for your help.
