While working on a small project this past weekend, I learned...
1. I can do free motion quilting!...thanks to learning that... 2. I sew much better while wearing my reading glasses! (duh! no wonder my other FMQ looked so bad) 3. It takes me way to long to match colors of fabrics for a... SCRAPPY quilt! (hint to self that is why it is called scrappy!) 4. I can show off my quilts to non- quilting friends without pointing out e-v-e-r-y l-i-t-t-l-e mistakes ( I'm my own worst version of the quilt police) and...... 5. Never ever promise you DH those "special favors" when all you have on your mind is "Gotta finish my quilt!" (needless to say....I did finish and he didn't get any favors!) lol |

Oh yeah, #5 has got me in trouble more than once! Some good lessons learned this weekend.
