I purchased a suit (jacket & skirt) recently at a thrift shop for $5. I loved it because of all of the rick rack and ribbons on it, but I purchased it knowing I'd give it to a friend who creates one of a kind purses to sell in her daughter's gift shop in Oklahoma. Well, she was kind enough to give me one of the purses she made out of the fabric. I just love how it turned out. All of the ribbon flowers, stems and tulle ruffles on the purse were on the suit......the ruffle on the outside of the purse is some she purchased.
