Because I have some 'animal' interruptions:

And if you're like me, you don't want to disturb their comfort!

I just came back from an animal interruptus.. We had to go out, but that was a nice break because the weather is beautiful.. Now I have to make binding, and sew it on..

Actually - knowing my cats as well as i do - YOU were interrupting THEM.....they wanted to relax and maybe have a nap and you were making too much sewing noise !!

Tartan 07-19-2014 12:07 PM

You must have cat nip in your sewing room.:D

Sandra in Minnesota 07-19-2014 01:47 PM

It must be nap time!

Ria 07-19-2014 02:20 PM

Beautiful! I miss my cat so much. He was always helping me quilt, lol.

roguequilter 07-19-2014 02:42 PM

my hubs teases me because i won't disturb my furry loves wherever they are indulging in much needed nap time - my chair, sewing table (there are 2 beds for them), couch ...wherever!

joyful1 07-19-2014 05:35 PM

Love seeing pics of all the furry little family members. I have allergies so can't have any of my own!

I love the pictures. Thanks for sharing. Ours aren't at all spoiled, except no one in our house gets out of the chair if there's a cat on the lap. We have a king size bed, they get 1/2. They have clocks for tummies and know the word "treat." I sew around them as much as possible, few sewing breaks for me if I want to get anything done.

Doggramma 07-19-2014 06:37 PM

All righty then, time for a break! Your helper has spoken.

gramqlts 07-20-2014 07:55 AM

I have three small dogs who are always in my sewing room when I am. One lays on or by my feet; one has to have his own quilt that he lays down and throws over himself to nap close by; and the other gets up on top of extra chair, plastic storage crate or cardboard box (where ever she can find a good spot). They are always close at hand.

Aren't they just the most fun to have around? Ours are a blessing and a curse, depending upon whether they're sleeping or not.

My black long hair, Bruno lays in that position on the floor and just dares the dogs to disturb him!

girlsfour 07-21-2014 10:29 AM

Adorable!! Who couldn't stop for them?? Not me!

caspharm 07-21-2014 04:10 PM

They knew you needed a break! :)

Rose Marie 07-24-2014 09:47 AM

Love my kitties.
One is in my comfortable chair for the computer so am sitting on a fold up chair, not comfortable.
Wish I could relax like a cat. If I didn't have to pay for everything, and clean house etc., then I could relax like a cat.

AllyStitches 07-24-2014 01:01 PM

Ah, they are wonderful!
