1100 square feet on main floor makes cleaning day easy. Full basement but seldom go down there except to my small sewing room.

HGTV used to have a show called “Building Character”. People turned old gas stations, churches, schools, etc. into homes. Always wanted to live in something that didn’t start out as a house.

I’ve had big homes and small homes. Give me small and simple so I have time for my other passions in life !

I have been in a couple of tiny homes like on tv. The couples that lived in them still had stuff but it was stored elsewhere. One thing I noticed was the tiny home stinks. One smell goes through the whole place, imagine several smells, bathroom smells, and two people in one full time. I'm sure the ones living there gets used to it but please before having visitors, open the windows.

I totally agree, along with quilting I also do embroidery and garment making so I'd need two tiny homes just for that. Other than the upstairs, because I'm not using it, every room downstairs you'll find some type of sewing stuff in.

Just looking at those tiny homes makes me claustrophobic!!!

I was watching Tiny Nation show on TV and at the end of one episode the wife said she didn't know the smells would be so bad. She said no one told her about that. It's hard to stay in a small motor home for more then a couple of days because of the smells so I can't imagine living in something smaller every day.

Friends of my friends made a train station into a gorgeous home that I envied.

I think tiny might be tolerable if I lived by myself.
