I heard about a book called " Clutter's Last Stand" and knew I needed to read it so I got it from the library.
Well- that was about 2 weeks ago and I just found it YESTERDAY under a pile LOL LOL :D But I'm still determined to have that minimalistic life !!! Sue |
Now THAT is funny!
|
Susan Margaret, you crack me up!!!
Was the book over due at the library too?? P.S. Let me know how the de-cluttering goes  |
Way to show it who's boss !! lol..
|
No, not overdue- but do you suppose they have the Kindle version???? hee hee
|
Sounds like me. I bought a book once about getting organized...can't seem to find it!
|
Oh wow...do I ever need to read that book!!! I bought a lot of storage containers in an effort to sort and organize my stash of fabric, books, and patterns...instead of completing the task, all of those storage containers are piled on top of the mess...lol...Naomi

I am so glad that I am not alone with my mess and piles of things that I am going to finish someday or start that some day if anyone needs help it is me but just do not know where to start all I seem to do is move from one spot to the next Wish I could hire someone it just it fixed for me but it would last for long and then would be back in some mess
|
It's an excellent book!
The author makes decluttering seem like a virtue! (He also makes it sound like living in a mess is stressful, expensive, and inefficient) |
Every now & then some space opens up in my sewing room. For a time, I am thrilled to have a clear spot. Then I go shopping or someone moves & I take her scraps. Oh well. It can be freeing to have open space but where woulg all the scrap quilts come from?
