Thanks

I really can't share a technique that each person would have to develop themselves. Others have tried when I showed them but gave up as they are time consuming and doing legs is a real chore.

they are beautiful. Such a talent. I've tried doing some beading and it requires a lot of time. Good Job.

I belong to a bead group that meets each Sat. afternoon. They are sooooo talented and very creative. I enjoy bead weaving but also found I enjoyed bead embroidery using cabachons and crystals creating pendants and bracelets.
One day, one of the gals had been to a thrift store and bought a bag of animals and everyone took one (I was last to arrive so got the last one) and I ended up with the anteater (at first I thought it was an armadillo and was excited to make it, then I realized it was an anteater so I figured what difference did it make.
I looked and looked, fixed it so it could be beaded, sat down and the rest is history as I say. I was 1/3 done when someone came over to my house to see my beaded dolls, spied the anteater and promptly said she wanted to buy it. I've now done 4 anteaters and have bags full of animals just waiting in the closet to be reborn. Sometimes, people purchase their animal and bring it to see if I can do it (example: snake and eyeore). I charge the same price whether I provide animal or not.
By the way, this is all since sometime in Feb.

Yes I do. If you find my other posts (they should all say something about spare time) you can see more and find more information.
