So pretty, glad it's at your house!:)

Lynnie25 12-19-2010 04:19 PM

Beautiful photos. Love the snow covered tree and the view from your back deck. What a winter wonderland for you...right now we are enjoying a hot sunny day - finally a hint of summer here in Australia after days and days of rain and floods everywhere

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 04:27 PM

Lynnie, I have a friend ( actually the daughter of a dear friend ) who lives in the Sydney area of Oz.. I love looking at the photos Hannah sends out on her facebook page, because it makes me smile thinking we will eventually have summer again!

twospoiledhuskies 12-19-2010 04:54 PM

Welll....... I should be looking in my backyard for snow.... but, none to be found. We've been having a warm spell. First time since I've lived here (5 yr) w/o a white christmas. Feel like I'm back in CA.

The view and snow look great. Hope you enjoy them :-D

Beautiful!!
No snow here but plenty of rain!!!!
We really need it though.

redquilter 12-19-2010 05:10 PM

Oh how pretty. But you can keep it if you don't mind! I happen to like winter, but not snow. It gets so dirty and ugly here in the city.

Quiltforme 12-19-2010 06:15 PM

Can I come play in the snow!!!????

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 06:20 PM

haha, you know where I am " Jade"...

karenchi 12-19-2010 06:20 PM

So pretty....Cold here too!

Magdalena 12-19-2010 06:53 PM

My DD just text to let me know it's snowing in Portland too. We are just coming back from Strawberry, Ca just to see the snow - oh, I know, city people....

lab fairy 12-19-2010 07:00 PM

It is still 60 degrees at my house. 8-)

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 07:02 PM

Its still 70 degrees, Lab Fairy, INSIDE my house, lol..

pab 12-19-2010 07:03 PM

Wonderous winterland.Used to ski, loved the snow in my younger days. What a view, very lucky gal. pab

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 07:07 PM

Pab, I grew up in the bay area of California, and all we had was rain back then. When I moved here to eastern Oregon, I was so upset that first winter, as there was no snow.. I finally flew back to where I grew up, for the New Year, and when I returned home on Jan. 3rd, there was 3 feet standing in my yard at that time.. This storm that hit hasn't caused much of a heart beat to flutter, but then again, its not even in our worst snow season yet!

cathyvv 12-19-2010 07:31 PM

Lovely to look at, but so glad it is in Oregon and not here in NJ.

Hope that doesn't bring a blizzard down on us!

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 07:37 PM

haha, Cathy.. seems like when we storm here, everyone else eventually gets it most of the time.. This time, I will not send it to your state.. I have the power of the snowball in my very hands.. oh wait, I have pocket warmers , guess the snow will melt before it gets to NJ!

franie 12-19-2010 07:38 PM

Beautiful! I love snow!

amandasgramma 12-19-2010 07:39 PM

How many inches??? We got 4" today --- adds up to 12" on our yard... :) :)

aneternalpoet 12-19-2010 07:44 PM

Hi, we have about a foot in our back yard ( some melted, new stuff came ) and its still snowing here now, not hard, but steady.. They said 2 or 3 inches tonight, and some throughout the week.. Stay warm.. I am heading to bed, with three quilts, as I can't stay warm today..sigh.. I knew this hobby called quilting was good for something!!

amandasgramma 12-19-2010 08:30 PM

LOL --- I'm SO pleased we have wood stove and enough wood for 2 yrs!!!!

catrancher 12-20-2010 10:01 AM

I love snow. I wish we'd get a good snowfall, but since we're trying to get out of here on January 2nd for our snowbird trip, I guess I want it to hold off. This is our third time going. The first two, we got snowed in both times, even though we tried leaving early enough the second time to avoid it. Our neighbors now gauge how much and when the snow will fall based on when we plan to take off on our trip. Last year, we didn't go, and guess what? No snow all winter.

amma 12-20-2010 10:16 AM

Beautiful! I love to see snow covered mountains :D:D:D

belmer 12-20-2010 01:24 PM

Beautiful landscape.... Can I send you some of our snow from good old Minnesota? I love the mountains in the background.

Mona Lisa 12-20-2010 01:41 PM

It looks beautiful I love winter, snow and all. I am in Northern Ontario Canada. We have about 4 times as much snow as you do right now. The snow banks in the driveway are about three feet high. I have never had a Christmas without snow.

barefoot quilter 12-20-2010 01:52 PM

just found your post love that snow dont get non in fresno ca but not to far from it only 1hr

pinebeltquilter 12-20-2010 05:35 PM

Looked in my backyard for snow...Nope..None..only cold, damp wind. Oh well, I guess I'll have to take what I get. It snows once in awhile here, but it only stays long enough to be messy. Your place is breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoy!!

Abby'smom 12-20-2010 06:16 PM

beautiful -- but I hope we don't get any ice or snow -- we don't know what to do with it -- it was 80 or so today but cold will be coming

jazway 12-20-2010 07:09 PM

The snow is so great to look at but we wouldn't know what to do with it. To day tshirts, shorts and flip flops!

kathome 12-20-2010 08:24 PM

85 degrees here in Abilene, TX today.

Christmas is all about snow. I spent the first 55 years of my life in NJ and miss the snow for Christmas. (That's the ONLY time I miss it though)

CarrieAnne 12-20-2010 09:59 PM

Beautiful!

bels 12-21-2010 06:05 PM

Beautiful pics! Thank you. We never get to see snow around here.

amandasgramma 12-21-2010 09:10 PM

So -- what's it doing over there now???? We were supposed to get 30% chance of snow -- but none so far. And the winds came and melted all snow off the trees...BOOOOOOO!!!!
