Tornadoes hit Williams, CA with a loss of at least 2 houses, and a Penn town with a loss of 30 homes there as well as a school.

All of you take care in such terrible weather. And it seems that Kansas isn't the only place that should have underground shelters. Mamma Nature is getting upset and taking her anger out on our little earth.

WOW, living in CA for most my life, its strange to hear about tornadoes in that area...be safe!

My daughter called earlier today and said her electric was off..If I needed to call best to call on the cell phone..she lives about 40 miles east of Williams...they have had 3 or 4 tornado watches in the past couple of days. She also said there is a weak spot possible crack in the levee so they might have to evacuate if it breaks...we went through that when I lived in Yuba City in the late 1990's..we were out of our house for 4 days. It broke but it went to the east side and flooded Marysville. Yuba City is on the west side of the river so it wasn't affected.

they tested the tornado sirens in Ohio yesterday all over the state our city doesn't have one so we didn't hear it but they are starting to get ready for the coming storm season

I was at my Iowa home this past week and we had tornado watches and storms. One touched down not far from us.

BTW, those who remember when we started our move to Nebraska last summer doing it ourselves. We have finally sold the house in Iowa! YaYYYY!!
