A "Toy" from My Past
2 Attachment(s)
As a child my grandparents and then parents ran an old fashioned general store similar to what you see on shows like The Waltons. I use to spin this and make a guess as to how many little tubes (filled with machine needles) I would see when I opened the door. Needless to say it didn't take much to keep me amused! On a recent trip back to Pennsylvania, my DSL asked if I wanted this....OF COURSE!! Not sure what I will do with it but a cool memory from my past.

Oh, that is very cool!! What a neat "toy"!

It's great and it still has the tubes inside! I would get a little display shelf put up in my sewing room. It would look mighty cute along with a giant button or scissors.

How cute. I have some of those tubes.

That is a really nice artifact - and "toy" - and such great memories you have of it too.

Saw one of these at an estate sale yesterday. Going out the door!

Very cool "toy"!! Its bait for antique sewing machines that might just jump into your car. :)

I have seen many "period" movies where kids are pushing a hoop down the street with a stick. Whatever makes you happy, go with it.

I love all those old sewing "things" . Very cool, you need to have a display for this treasure.
